About Renee Novak

Renee Novak is dual board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner by ANCC. Renee graduated with honors from the University of Florida earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) degree. During her education at University of Florida, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Soon after graduation from University of Florida, Renee earned her MSN as a family nurse practitioner from University of South Florida.

Over the years practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Renee realized the need for patients to have access to mental health services. This inspired her to enroll in the Post-Masters Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate from Florida State University.

Renee has worked in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, school clinics, community health centers, correction facilities, and tele-health. Renee treats patients across the lifespan who have a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, personality disorders, ADD/ADHD, psychosis, OCD, and insomnia. Renee includes a wholistic and individualized approach with each patient.
